Loucas Nicolaou was awarded a BSc in Biology by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2001 and an MSc in Science by Open University UK in 2009. His final thesis title has been “Engaging the Public with National Bioethics Organisations”. He has been teaching Biology in private and public schools since 2002 and “Bioethics and deontology in Biological Sciences” in European University Cyprus since 2016. He has also participated in the Research Ethics Committee for Biomedical Research of Cyprus National Bioethics Committee from 2007 until 2009. He is a Ph.D. Candidate in Vertebrate Palaeontology at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His current research area concerns the morphology of the native mammals of the site Akrotiri Aetokremnos in Cyprus.
